About Lauren
There’s a sense of relief that comes from talking to someone who gets it — someone who understands the pressure to do it all, be everything for everyone, and still somehow feel like it’s not enough.
That’s the space I aim to create in therapy: one where you can be honest, heard, and human.
I specialize in working with adults and teens navigating disordered eating, body image concerns, and the deeper emotional patterns that often accompany them: perfectionism, anxiety, depression, trauma, and a relentless inner critic.
My work is grounded in a Health at Every Size® (HAES) framework, which means I respect body diversity, reject diet culture, and believe that your worth and wellbeing are not defined by your weight or appearance. I provide a space where all bodies are welcome, and where healing doesn’t require shrinking yourself — physically or emotionally.
With over a decade of experience — including serving as Clinical Director at a residential eating disorder program — I know that struggles with food and body image are rarely just about food or body image. They’re often how we cope, how we seek safety, or how we try to gain control in a world that constantly demands more.
In our work together, you don’t have to perform. You don’t have to fix yourself. You just have to show up — and I’ll meet you there with warmth, empathy, and real support.
If you're tired of feeling at war with your body and exhausted by the pressure to be “enough,” I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
